All incoming students will take part in our August orientation program, Helluva Welcome! During this program, students will move into their residence hall, will spend time getting to know campus, and will build connections in the Rocky Mountains at Oredigger Camp as they take their first steps in their Mines journey. Students who are not living on campus will also participate in Helluva Welcome and will receive more specific instructions in the spring.

Get ready for an unforgettable 2024 Commencement at Mines!

As we mark our sesquicentennial anniversary, we’re also planning an extra special celebration with traditions old and new for our graduating seniors, who did not get to experience traditional high school graduation ceremonies back in 2020 due to the pandemic. We’re making it a graduation they’ll remember!

Graduating students who are eligible to participate in the Commencement ceremony are eligible to order the Mines 150th Anniversary Hat.

• Mines Birthday Party at the Labriola Innovation Hub (with giveaways) | 1 p.m.
